As a 2016 graduate of UTSA with a Masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, I include Art Therapy and Play Therapy in my practice. Much of my experience comes from working with youth and their families at a nonprofit. I work with children, teens, adults, and families to build skills that benefit personal growth and empower those on a journey of improvement and positive change.
I strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for teens and adults to freely discuss their struggles. Clients and I work together to find and develop strategies to reach their therapeutic goals. I graduated from Texas A&M University—Corpus Christi with an MS in Mental Health Counseling. I use a blend of therapy techniques that are fine tuned to what you need to be successful. My areas of focus include treating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem building, self-discovery and developing coping skills.
I believe that providing a judgement free zone and having an open mind helps build success during the therapeutic process, as it can be very vulnerable at times. My goal is to walk alongside you and support you as you share your story with me. I hope that you leave every session feeling heard, respected and seen no matter how challenging of a session it may be.
Fun Facts: I’m the oldest of 7, I grew up in a military family and I have a sweet tooth.
